At a rave Sitting in a line at front wearing pashminas Mitra was there, she walked. She's doing some kind of camino The hosts were playing a game with us I won last time People left and I ended up winning again This time I won like a blow up sailboat It wasn't perfect but it worked A girl was showing me how it worked I called mum what to do about it I showed her on video what it looked like It was a van in a lot at the same time as well as a boat It had graffiti and chains on one side of it I went around the thing and showed all of the vehicle Then mum started screaming at me over the issue of the chains I didn't put them there, and I didn't understand why they were such an issue She didn't understand that it wasn't me and I didn't understand why she was so upset with me We ended up arguing, I was screaming, shouting at her because she made me so upset and I was trying to get through to her but she wasn't listening Eventually I put the phone down Kilian Conor and I were at Set's. We were trying to get up to go to a rave. We left but super late. We were in paris but it was Budapest and we were going to Module, that was in Copenhagen. But in the dream it wasn't in Copenhagen We just needed to take the metro to module for a few stops When trying to get to the metro, at ticket validation there was wrong with one of the gates and had to go thru another one Everyone got through except me, they asked for my ID but instead of me showing them the woman just grabbed my documents out of my hand and then was confused looking at the stuff I showed her my Irish passport Eventually she saw my hungarian ID and my address card too But it wasn't good for her, because she wasn't able to confirm who I was Although she could've but she was just really bad at her job By the time she finally let us go it was 8am I yelled and cursed at her for fucking up our time and day and not being able to do her job and for being an idiot. Then we left and conor wanted to go to a bakery and he got something and sat down and started eating, it was 8.30 then and it closed at 9 so there was no point in going anymore. But I really really really wanted to go and I got super upset again and started shouting at Conor. And I was like I don't care I'm gonna shout and curse at you, I've done it before today already anyway
Your dream paints a vivid tapestry of emotions, interactions, and settings, reflecting a complex interplay of personal feelings and experiences. Let's break it down into its primary themes and symbols to interpret the underlying meaning.
The rave represents a space of community, freedom, and self-expression. It can symbolize a desire to break from routine and immerse yourself in a vibrant social environment. The presence of the characters, like Mitra and your friends, indicates that there are significant relationships or social circles in your waking life contributing positively or negatively to your emotional state.
Winning at the game signifies your self-esteem and feelings of achievement. It suggests that you are in a phase of life where you are confident in your capabilities and your potential to succeed. However, the aspect of winning a ‘not perfect’ sailboat might suggest that while you have attained something, it may not fulfill all your expectations or desires. This could point to areas in your life where you might feel like you’ve accomplished something but are still feeling incomplete.
The intense argument with your mother about the chains symbolizes underlying issues in your relationship with her or perhaps parental figures in general. The chains might represent bondage, restrictions, or guilt that you feel towards expectations or judgments from your family. Your mother’s inability to comprehend your side of the story reflects a common theme of miscommunication and misunderstanding in relationships. The act of putting the phone down could suggest a need to step away from conflict or assert your boundaries.
The journey through Paris, Budapest, and Copenhagen emphasizes feelings of chaos and confusion. The inability to navigate between these places could be indicative of feeling lost or having difficulty finding your path or identity. The mention of taking the metro suggests the need for structure and direction in life, highlighting feelings of frustration when that structure is disrupted.
The interaction with the ticket validation officer represents conflicts with authority or systems you believe are unjust. Your feelings of anger towards the officer for not doing her job properly can mirror frustrations you may have with bureaucracies or systems in real life that seem unhelpful or obstructive.
The bakery incident at the end reflects a deeper emotional struggle. You are faced with a desire (wanting to enjoy the bakery experience) that is thwarted, leading to frustration and outbursts. This may represent larger unmet desires or frustrations in waking life, possibly related to opportunities you feel are slipping away from you.
This dream showcases a journey through social engagements, personal victories, and frustrations, all mixed with conflict and the desire for clarity in communication and direction. It could be highlighting a need to confront personal challenges, such as managing relationships, understanding personal desires, and navigating life's complexities. The emotional outbursts and incidents reflect an internal struggle with feeling misunderstood and the pressure of expectations from different spheres of your life.
Consider reflecting on these themes in your waking life. Are there unresolved conflicts or feelings of chaos that need to be addressed? Are you seeking clearer communication in your relationships? Engaging with these questions may help you unlock deeper insights into your current emotional landscape.
